I never realised just how many great works of art we had on this theme - especially with a little poetic licence. If you do a search on bird, there are over 25 pages (around 250 art works) here’s a selection of some of our favorites.
Teresa Poole’s chickens are brilliant and also makes one think of politicians at the moment with their apt titles, though these still have their heads on. For something a little more abstract John Podpadec’s kingfisher really catches the spirit of this king of the river.
This one is really worth a view, so take a quick peck Ooppss peek and see for yourself.
