Anna works in oil on canvas, board and wood, also in acrylic and crayon. Her subject matter is domestic: :tea, birds, boats, bottles, fruit and flowers. These objects are depicted in freeewheeling, highly patterned configurations like humorous patchwork cut-outs that have a distinctly French feel. they are disarmingly decorative and obviously endearing.
Writing and illustrating books is Anna’s new venture and her first book series, ‘Lighty Faust the Lion’, ‘Bedtime with Lighty Faust the Lion’ and ‘Where is Lighty Faust the Lion’ has been published by The Five Mile Press and is available in many good bookshops (if not please just ask). A new story ‘Wanda and Dragonfly’ has recenty been published.
