Nature is the main inspiration for my work, organic forms and compositions are elements in a 'language' through which the subjects are expressed. Organic forms have become elements in a language through which I express the link between the earthly and the spiritual. I also use colour to express longing for harmony and the healing which art brings. The Japanese tradition of ink drawings with characteristic minimalism of line and mark is combined with colour for feelings, energy and atmosphere. The focus is on the sublime, represented via abstract and symbolical compositions.'' Vicky Philosoph.
