Louise Ann Kirby graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2000. Her unique handcrafted pieces are inspired by, “…the idea of installation and how a simple element repeats, emerge in the form of a collective.” she says. Often using canvas as her raw material Kirby hand stitches each element of the design on to chunky box canvas frames which have been handmade. Currently living in Bracknell, Berkshire, UK, her work is held in local private collections.
