Vassiliy Floreskul is a Ukranian artist, who currently lives in Crimea. Floreskul moved to Crimea after the split of the USSR in 1991, and since then has set up his studio in the town of Feodosia. Heavily influenced by Anatoly Zverev (1931-1986), a member of the non-conformist movement and a founder of Russian Expressionism, Vassiliy Floreskul is a Member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. Exhibitiong his work in Feodosia, Simferopol, Chernovici, Kyev and Moscow, he has many paintings in private collections across Russia and the Ukraine.
