Takahide Komatsu was born in Japan in 1979. Currently living in Miyazaki, Japan, his work is inspired by ceiling paintings, wall paintings, and body painting. These influences have encouraged a tactile and organic element to his work. Through the combination of investigation and experimentation he has developed a unique sense of aesthetic. Takahide Komatsu has exhibited across Japan and more recently, in New York.
