Nikki is a digital artist now based in Tenerife, she has exhibited her digital artwork in Sussex and London. From August 2004 her work will be included in a International Exhibition of Modern Surreal Art which will be touring England, America and Australia. Nikki creates contemporary images that synthesis photography, graphic design and illustration. She believes that "art photography" can be fun as well as visionary, and "commercial photography" can be innovative as well as popular.
The series of images on this site (“Digital Beach”) have been inspired by the south coast, where she lived for five years .These pictures have been exhibited in a variety of different settings ranging from museum / gallery (The Grange, Rottingdean), theatre (The Connaught, Worthing) and the Sussex Arts Club (Brighton) to less traditional venues such as restaurants (The Tin Drum, Brighton & the Shore, Shoreham), reception at the Sussex Innovation Centre (Brighton University), a health centre (Henry House, Worthing) and even in a car showroom (SJ Masters Mercedes showroom, Worthing). The images have generated considerable interest from the Sussex press / magazines and from the general public (especially at arts fairs, the Adur Festival etc).
Her photography work has recently been taken on by photofusion a london based picture agency.
Nikki has now moved to Tenerife and is working on a series of art images based on the wonderful stark landscapes of Tenerife.
