| Annie is a landscape painter. Her previous images captured the beauty of Long Island where she had been living; now it is Dorset that attracts her with its unlimited views, varied lines and shapes. She works fast and passionately with whichever tool seems to be most suitable to express a moment in time. Then, she often re-works a piece adding texture and colour until she feels a painting is complete. Her works are painted over the edges and therefore extend nearly to the surface of the wall. |
