|London-born Dani Humberstone trained as a fashion designer, has worked as a graphic designer and book illustrator and even set up her own greetings card company. She was awarded the Londonart Prize at the Society of Women Artists Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries a few years ago. Her paintings each have a story. “Three Wisdoms” possesses elements of the life cycle and illustrates the ancient maxim, "As above, so below." “Requiem”, with its mournful First World War soldier seen through an apple ‘viewfinder’, was recently admired by Princess Michael of Kent. She has pushed her interests in painting further by writing two books for Search Press Ltd on Abstract Painting and has published a third book of her own work entitled ‘Going Dutch’.
