Emily Clark

Emily works quickly and spontaneously - hours of examination and sketch preparation do not suit her nature. The artist perceives the world as a mixture of energies that interact with each other, therefore her abstract paintings are bursting with vigour. She believes that art has got an impact and therefore carries responsibility, in her case the message seems to be environmental, in favour of the planet and the joy of life.

Kenneth Clarke

A former Mr Universe, Kenneth has since turned from body sculpture to art and in so doing has evinced a fine appreciation for the female form. Elsewhere, a love of music is revealed both in the use of music notation and pulsing forms, with twisting shell-shapes alluding to the fractal imagery of chaos theory.

Michael Clay

Michael clay uses his art to express his own feelings of loss, hope and survival. Like many artists before him Clay’s art has become a very real form of self expression which helps him to confront his own sense of anxiety, fear and pain. danita cole

Danita Cole is a painter’s painter. Heavily influenced by landscape she specializes in encaustic painting – an ancient technique also known as hot wax painting, which involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The liquid/ paste is then applied to a surface, usually prepared wood, though canvas and other materials are often used, to produce a richly textured finish. Danita currently lives on a 35ft sailing boat which is currently moored in Charleston harbour - so it isn’t hard to see why her paintings predominantly reflect the ocean. "There's nothing quite like the feeling of freedom one gets from living on a boat; not just from the physical freedom of being able to pick up and go, but also from the spiritual freedom that facing ones own mortality provides”. Danita has traveled extensively throughout her life and draws inspiration for her paintings from Mother Nature.

Dorita Colorgetic Art

Doris B Lambling was born 1959 in Mannheim Germany. A member of the Society for Art of Imagination Lambing discovered her passion for painting in 2004. A self taught artist Lambling uses paint to express her own inner world. "I discovered painting as a wonderful way to express myself, my feelings, dreams and experiences in an imaginative and colourful way." she says, adding, "All my pictures are created spontaneous and intuitive. They come from the eye of the heart. Sometimes also from strange thoughts in my head, which I notice with a smile. Mainly a look in inner worlds it's always my perception of energies in and around me. That's the reason why I prefer the usage of vivid and vibrant colors."

Patricia Colyer

Almost defying words, these are landscapes of the utmost delicacy and subtletly that testify to the best kind of artistic visual intelligence. They are surely of the same order as Derek Jarman's vision of Dungeness. Sometimes adding bitumen, varnish or gloss paint to her oils to be able to create the kind of texture she seeks, Patricia's work has an underplayed humility yet her vision is powerful and stark. Her rendering of 'textual reed-beds and salt-marsh estuaries' combined with her poetic titles are highly evocative of the East Anglian landscape.

Herve Constant

Constant's grainy, earthly paintings have a secret, mystically, misty feel to them. Electrifyingly ominous air in the environments he creates send a tingle to the back of the neck. Constant's paintings have a fantastically intriguing quality to them.

john paul cooke

Abstract expressionist painter John Paul Cooke works in both acrylics and oils on board or canvas. His considered choice of colour and tone creates works which play with solidity and lightness but which often seem to refer to landscape. They seem to involve repainting and covering up to leave key "incidents" or marks which have dramatic visual impact. Much is made of scumbling dry paint to produce a textured painting by a process of accretion.

Philip Cordero

Philip's artistic interests lay in the representations of landscapes, places or seasons. His choice of colours and type of brushstroke depend on the atmosphere he wants to create or a feeling that he would like to pass, therefore the actual likeness is not that important in his work. Philip's work is semi-abstract - it gives a viewer a clue of what they look at but does not reveal the whole reality of it. It could be said that it is an attempt to show the tangible in an intangible way.
