Natasha McCrory

Natasha McCrory is a landscape painter specialising in oil on canvas. Living in Penzance, which is located on the 'Lands End' Peninsular UK, has a strong influence on her and on her work. Inspired by the power of the surrounding land, sea and sky, Natasha, uses a meticulous technique to reflect her subject. Applying washes of flat opaque colour, Natasha then overlays the colour with a series of tiny marks and dots. The collective spacing and colour of these tiny marks, defines and shapes the form and structure of the landscape.

Kay McDonagh

Kay used to paint a lot, but since she discovered the hand printing press, her focus has shifted to etching. The artist loves portraying animals, which in her work become subjects to learn about, and you are under no illusion that they represent some general truths about human kind. It is not the first time that an artist has personalized animals and spoken through metaphor, but Kay's skilful use of visual humour and sub titles get the messages across.

Helen McKenna-Menges

Helen McKenna-Menges was brought up on the Solway Firth and spent much of her time on the coast in Scotland and England. The power of the lakes and seascapes of the west coast and the dramatic Scottish hills still influences her work today. "Painting became a way of gaining access to the same feelings I had there, when I couldn't be there physically… I love the outdoors and I love the challenge of painting outdoors and the race between the clouds, sun, midges and my paint drying". Helen's recent landscapes paintings focus on the landscape of Scotland, Cumbria, and Cornwall. Helen McKenna-Menges studied at the highly acclaimed Goldsmiths College, London University in 1991.
