Irma Gelantia

Georgian artist Irma Gelantia studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, graduating from the Faculty of Monumental-Decorative Painting in 2004. Her surrealist images draw on symbols of history, power and the unconscious. Her forms imply a sense of fluidity and freedom sometimes contrasting with the themes they represent, suggesting a dreamlike escape from a troublesome reality. Her traditional still life paintings exhibit her training and high level of skill that underpins the surrealist works and an understanding of the art historical remit for this form, to celebrate the material pleasures of her subjects. From this she departs to the ephemeral representations of her more stylized works.

Lloyd  Gill

Lloyd Gill's paintings aim to explore and question the notion of space and our reality of it. Lloyd Gill's fascination with trying to understand the universe, the relationship between spatial dimensions and perception, in conjunction with art and science, has led him to investigate and research some of the most recent and complex of scientific and theoretical ideas. Applying his investigative research and theoretical study, by reflecting and developing them within a visual language, Lloyd hopes to make his paintings, "depict a reality which represents more than three dimensions of space." After successfully completing his Fine Art degree, Lloyd Gill won the Governor's Prize, Student of the Year Award, and the Harry Walker Prize, 2002, at Bath's Victoria Gallery. Exhibiting throughout the UK, including the countries capital and major city galleries, Lloyd Gill now lives and works in Weston Super Mare, UK.

Angela Gladwell

Having long since graduated from the Royal College of Art and regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Angela Gladwell has established a highly successful career as a painter. Her work in watercolour and oil on canvas might be described as photorealist in its exact rendition of outward appearances. Her rendering of the sheen of silk and rich fabrics is sumptuous. Yet whilst adhering to describing the seen, she also creates works which imaginatively delight in that process.

Emma Glibbery

Finding particular aesthetic influence in the post war decades of the 1950s to the 1970's, Emma Glibbery finds inspiration in a range of varied and intriguing subjects. Her most recent series of works have been inspired by the uncomplicated simplicity of the female nude and how it can, become almost abstract. A trained Graphic Designer she has been selling her artwork in the UK and abroad since 2002. She feels that it is important that all of her paintings are hand painted rather than digitally printed. The surface is very smooth almost giving the appearance of a screen print. As a progression from traditional acrylics Emma also experiments with glitter paint and fabric, and is currently working on a series of graphic tropical motifs using felt and hand stitching alongside the nudes. Exhibitions include a series of shows in London in 2003, a group show in Hoxton in 2005 and the Battersea Contemporary Art Fair in May 2006.
