 Hkosmoh

The work of Hkosmoh is a journey into the imagination: satisfying and surprising jaunts into realms of colour and pattern leap out at the eye. Working in acrylic on canvas, there is a mosaic-like quality to her designs which conjure up Italian frescoes, especially in the case of the iconic "Maria". There is also perhaps a reference to Italian Futurism in the definite repetition of motifs as in "Bank-ing Messenger"s and" Hoto". In fact, the allusions also take one into the realms of ancient Egyptian, as one can find disitnct kohl-rimmed eyes and goddesses, but also others from a variety of mythologies. Decorative gold outlined forms in the vein of Hundertwasser take their place in the array of embellishments so beloved by this unique artist.

Helen Hopkins

Helen is a practised artist having studied under professional artists at classes over the last seven years. Her speciality is using colourful heavy body acrylics on a large scale: not something every artist can manage. Her style of chunky brushstrokes is daring and carried out with great zeal. On the other hand, Helen appears to be equally versatile whichever media she adopts including watercolours. So whether it is audacious, gestural, thick paint you enjoy or bright gutsy watercolours, then Helen's style will certainly accommodate both tastes.

Neil Howson

As an artist, Neil Howson was inspired by his travels through the Indian landscape and has been exhibited in London galleries several times. Having picked up an MA in Art from Aberdeen University, he now paints blocks of colour that contrast and compliment. Flashes of white bring touches of life into the canvasses. In 'Father and Son', the subjects are ruduced to different sized boxes capturing ,in a quirky manner, the sensation of being close to a relative. Howson's mission is to bring reasonably art to his audience and is open to taking comissions for your specific requirements.

Victor Hugo

Assuming the legendary name of Victor Hugo - the famous 19th Century writer and artist who was best known for his novels Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, our latest Mexican artists' real identity remains a mystery. Just as the late Victor Hugo was famous for his reflections of humanity's ceaseless combat with evil, the present day Victor celebrates the darker, sinister side to life. His deliberate choice of non de plume seeks to add power to his work and with titles such as Nadie me ha visto solo cuando estoy solo, roughly translated to, Of Fear Scare and Terror, and Paranoia , his aggressive and uncompromising style, is undeniably severe.

Peter Humphries

His uncanny scenes of life in Paraguayan barrios could illustrate a Graham Greene novel, though we suspect Peter is hinting at his own deep well of stories. Afterwards, luxuriate in the artist's eye for exotic blooms or soothe yourself with a calming landscape.
