Catalina Puschiaza

Puschiaza Catalina trained as an artist in Bucharest, initially as a graphic designer but then undertook further training in the Decorative Arts. However, her career trajectory then took an unusual route, which stemmed from her love of philosophy and theology. She acquired a Bachelor Degree in Theology - Ecclesiastical Painting. G .N Qazi

G.N.QAZI is fascinated with the old architecture of Sindh, one of the four provinces of Pakistan. Centering on his hometown of Thatta, his paintings depict the yellow dusty lanes, and habitual bazaars. Inspired by the old 'havelis', a term used to describe the traditional private residencies in Pakistan, his work particularly focuses on the old wooden balconies which are associated with them. “Through these old buildings, with beautifully chiseled out patterns, doors and windows, I try to reflect the architecture of days gone by when it was not technology but human skill and effort that created and built marvels.” Currently living in London his work is due to be exhibited later this year. Qazi has exhibited prolifically in both one man and group exhibitions across Pakistan and has works in private collections across the country.

By using soft and oil pastels in primary colours, Neelofar makes art to capture the life of the garden and the beauty of the natural world. She creates work showing a variety of plants and trees in mints, lemons, azures and purples, as well as the insect inhabitants of the park. Her art is easy on the eye and would be effortless to live alongside.

Lou Reade

Having obtained a degree in Fine Art, Lou Reade now paints emotive pieces currently dealing with a pre-occupation with bikes and the quirky prettiness of everyday scenes. Her work is has a contemporary feel but does not cast aside traditional artistic styles and techniques. Having exhibited around the USA and the UK, Reade now has found a home on Londonart, and we are delighted to show her. She also creates edgy, atmospheric portraits, remniscent of X-rays, creating images that show beauty is not just skin deep. Young and very talented, we look forward to sharing more of Reade's work in the future.

Nick Reeves

Nick Reeves takes each day as it comes. Avoiding any notion of resolute aims and objectives his work is a direct reflection of his life ethos. Each work is created in that moment for that moment. This enables him to produce agile, unimpeded, candid paintings.

Oleg Riabchuk

Oleg Riabchuk is an extremely versatile artist who can turn his hand to any number of subjects with great dexterity. He is equally comfortable with portraying architecture, nature or sentimental figurative scenes. Yet perhaps what each painting has in common is the quality of light. A warm glow seems to pervade throughout. There is always a lot going on yet somehow paradoxically, the images suggest tranquility. The rippling of a stream and early morning mists; the warmth of sun on snow or the fragility of dandelion clocks or a child's cupped hands playing hide and seek. There is a definite sensitivity in his treatment of these classic themes.
