Artists Statement:

As an artist it enables you to convey your inner most thoughts, in effect, making a real human effort to communicate an array of emotions through a visual medium.

The diversity of art openly encourages a persons own interpretation of any given piece.

It is thought my art works both on a conscious level, with decisions made to, shape, form, colour, media and composition, but also in some respect, on a subconcious level with a surreal, often 'offbeat', approach to the piece. On first glance it may seem as if there's no noticeable relation to anything in nature at all.

It's expressed as a very obvious emotive quality used somewhat as an emotional release. My emphasis relies on imagination and fantasy, with apparent symbolism reflected in certain shape & form, highlighted objects of focal significance and the use of colour.

My work primarily is considered as Contemporary Abstract Art and all are acrylic paint on gallery wrap canvas - so no frame is required.

I've always had a strong desire to travel and from graduating university last year I've since returned from backpacking across the U.S. I began my trip on the West coast of California visiting cities such as, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I travelled all the way across the country to the East coast and Florida and had undoubtedly the time of my life! You cant fail but to be inspired and heavily influenced by such amazing natural sights like The Grand Canyon. I feel my art has benefited from this life experience..........
