Born in Australia in 1950; educated at Shrewsbury, New College, Oxford, and Weymouth College.
Recent major projects: One, a text based piece for the village of Middleton-by-Youlgrave in Derbyshire and The Millennium Stone , commissioned by Stonehouse Town Council.
Other recent works include Horseback, a private commission from 2.5 tons of Clipsham stone and The Acrobat's Brother, an over-lifesize figure commissioned by a private collector in Los Angeles.
In 1987 my wife and I won the open competition for my first public sculpture commission, The Ram, in Stroud. I have also carved commissioned works for many private collectors and have works in collections in Greece, Spain, South Africa, the USA and 10 counties of the UK.
I have organised and carried out a number of sculpture projects with local primary and secondary schools as well as teaching informal workshops at my studio.
