Hu Li

Since the early childhood, Li Hu(Qi Shan-Paint name) has learned to paint. After his graduation from the Chinese Painting Department of Xi'an Fine Art University in 1989, he became a full time painter in Xi'an Traditional Chinese Painting Academy. As capital of 13 dynasties of ancient China, Xi'an has long history and atmosphere of traditional cultures and arts. In this centre of traditional Chinese painting, Li Hu(Qi Shan) learned the traditional techniques from many painting masters. However, he did not stop there. It is his non-stopping learning that brought him today's success. Both his Gongbi and Freehand paintings have been recognized in the area. His works have been collected by many organizations, Universities and private collectors in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, America and other European Countries. He is residing in Melbourne Australia now.
