I was born in 1956 in Edinburgh and apart from spending two years at school studying art have had no formal training. I left Edinburgh in 2011 and started drawing in 2012 using ink while travelling in Asia. In 2015 I started using water colours and the shoal of fish is my first water colour.
I have found nature to be fascinating and have seen many wonderful sights on my travels which was the catalyst to start drawing and painting.
Also the fact that my camera was stolen in Indonesia had an influence on deciding to start drawing again after a gap of forty years.
I hope you find the subject matter as interesting as I do.
