Martin Smith  cv
Images of far flung destinations have the power to call up in us strong desires for life and experience. Yet in the hands of a capable photographer such as Martin Smith, we are simultaneously satisfied by his expert eye for composition and detail. Martin has had a vast amount of experience in the field and his travels have taken him far and wide. He shows here images from his trips to India. Ladakh is “off the beaten track,” between the peaks of the western Himalaya and the Tibetan plateau. It is said to be the highest, most remote and least populated region in all of India: ‘the last Shangri-la’.
